Starting today, all startups operating in Lithuania, regardless of their size or industry, can take advantage of the benefits offered. This initiative aims to encourage the creation of new startups and accelerate the growth of existing startups in the country.
"If we want to have more unicorns in Lithuania, we need to increase the number of successful startups. Our ecosystem is already mature and experienced enough to help new and young startups with expertise and know-how," says Inga Langaitė, CEO of Unicorns Lithuania, the association that brought established startups together for this cause.

Unicorns Lithuania sees the potential to grow the ecosystem by 3x
There are currently more than 700 startups active in Lithuania, and the total number of startups could exceed 1,000. Last year, Lithuanian startups paid almost €200 million in taxes and raised around €428 million in foreign investment. At the same time, 16,000 Lithuanians are already employed by startups.
"We have the potential to increase the number of startups by at least 3 times. For the ecosystem to grow, several aspects need to interact seamlessly - talent, internal culture, the legal framework, incubators and accelerators, and investors. Today, Lithuania creates products that are relevant to the whole world and nurtures globally competitive talent. We need to be able to harness this to create a high-value-added economy. We plan to expand the list of offers and provide more opportunities for new startups to grow,” emphasises Inga Langaitė.
